Nefazodone Patient Reviews

Nefazodone has been a life saver. None of the bad side effects that are typically associated with Antidepressants (IE sexual side effects, weight gain). Have been on it for 8 years and helps tremendously with depression and anxiety and SAD.

I have been on nefazodone for over 20 years. It has been of great help to my mental well being. It really has helped my anxiety. I went from always being on the verge of a panic attack and may have had 1 or 2 a week. Once I added nefazodone the anxiety calmed down and I didn't feel like I was going to have a panic attack. I would say I may have 1 or 2 a year. One of the best things about nefazodone is it has practically no side effects. The only side effect I got was it makes me slightly sleepy at my night time dose. That isn't much of a side effect as I don't sleep real good so nefazodone is helpful with that. I also get a more restful nights sleep with it. It has had no sexual side effects for me and has not caused any weight gain. I am considered to be treatment resistant and nefazodone is one of the few medications that has worked for me. Either the med wouldn't work or I would get awful side effects. I have been on it for 22 years and it works just as good as when I first started it. If you have had trouble finding a medication that helps and doesn't give you nasty side effects give nefazodone a try.
