We have a Facebook Support Group called Nefazodone Shortage Survivors and Support. It is a place to discuss experience with nefazodone, provide information, tapering, titrating, and continued availability of the medication. Also information on a new SNDRI antidepressant called Ruoxinlin (ansofaxine). This is also a platform to discuss different medications to help with anxiety and depression. We have feedback from other patients taking nefazodone. Tips on finding a pharmacy stocking nefazodone. We focus on being supportive and helping people find relief from their mental illness. 10/1/22 - Luye Pharma has given the upcoming medication ansofaxine the brand name Ruoxinlin.
8/28/2022 - Ansofaxine is tentatively scheduled for approval from the FDA in the 4th quarter of 2022.
8/28/2022 - We have added patient reviews of nefazodone. If you are taking it please share your experience with it and how it has helped you.
6/25/2022 - The second production run of nefazodone since the shortage has arrived in the United States. Great news for us all.

Sign our Petition on Change.org to have Teva produce Nefazodone Indefinitely. Let Teva know Nefazodone is important to you.
6/23/2022 - Important If since the end of the shortage Nefazodone does not work like it did for you at one time or you are taking a smaller dose and are bothered by side effects we think we have figured out what is happening. As we will need some details like did you cold turkey due to the shortage it will be easier if you join our Facebook group and we will discuss it with you. There is no magic solution, it just may take time. We have had a few members who are starting to finally make progress so there is hope. Join the group and make a brief posting about how you went off of nefazodone during the shortage and what has been happening since you reintroduced nefazodone. As a note we are not doctors, we researched this and went off of research and our own personal experiences.
5/21/2022 - We will begin to follow a new upcoming SNDRI antidepressant called ansofaxine. The latest status is the new drug application (NDA) filing was accepted by the FDA in March of 2020. In December 2021 Luye Pharma released results from phase II clinical trials on ansofaxine.
5/20/2022 - We have had a few pharmacies that have told patients that they can't order nefazodone and even that it has been discountinued. This is completely false. All pharmacies can order nefazodone as all wholesalers are carrying it. This seems to be a case of a pharmacist not wanting to take care of the customer. Find a pharmacy that is willing to treat you properly. A local independent pharmacy will usually go the extra mile for a customer.
4/15/2022 - At this point all pharmacies should be able to order Nefazodone. Remember that most pharmacies may not have it in stock, but all should be able to order it. We got confirmation that Caremark and OptumRX are finally filling scripts. If you are having any trouble getting a certain dosage or a particular pharmacy isn't able to order it join our Facebook group and we will help you find a place to get it.
12/20/21 - Teva announces that Nefazodone is again available to patients in strengths of 50, 100, 150, 200, & 250mg
